Once upon a time, back in the 90's!

We initially started Mandurah Men’s Shed back in the 90's and our goal, other than to keep a few retired men out of mischief, was to make wooden toys for children; the men started slowly, making a few different toys they would give away to community groups. Over the years the group has grown to over 40 men making great quality wooden toys and furniture for children; we are so proud to make timeless products that will last for generations.

Making furniture and making friends

The Men’s Shed movement has now become one of the most powerful tools in addressing health and wellbeing and helping men to once again become valued and productive members of our community.

At Mandurah Men’s Shed you can make friends, work with your hands, and give back to your community all at once.

Volunteering is a great way to improve your mental health - what's more, volunteering has been shown to reduce stress, increase self-esteem and self-confidence, and even improve physical health.

Timeless toys made with full hearts

We believe that handmade means attention to detail and care for what you're making - it's not just about the product, it's about the process of creating it.

Our children’s furniture and toys are crafted in our workshop, using recycled and donated materials by gentlemen who work with such care and attention to detail which means you can rest assured that our products will be with you for generations to come.
